Christmas lights! I thought the candy cane was hard but this look really tested my skills. I had inspiration from TikTok to do this one. I thought it would be easier.
In white paint I outlined the strands and where I wanted them. I then pained on tiny nubs where I wanted the lights, then added the shape of the lights.
Once I set everything where I wanted I colored the strand a solid green. After that I colored in all of the lights.
Once the color was on I added eye shadow to each light to make it look like they were glowing. Unfortunately you can’t see it very well in the picture but it looked great in person.
After using the eyeshadow I just did a classic eye with a wing. I just wanted it to look pretty and not take away from the rest of the piece. I also painted my lips red and put some shimmer eyeshadow on them to make them pop
Once I did all of that I added highlights and outlines. WHITE MAKES A DIFFERENCE!! I have found that white highlights make every look so much better. Even the worse of them lol. Now this does not seem like a lot but this is four hours of work. Once again I am not an artist and I am learning. I don’t have the techniques yet. But I will get there!
