Beetlejuice 🪲

Beetlejuice is probably my absolute number one favorite movie of all time. I have a lot of favorites but this is definitely the big winner. This is also a re creation for the Mehron Makeup Glow Up Challenge. I first did a beetlejuice look in 2018 when I was first starting out. I thought I should do some justice by making my skills more known for this look.

Beetlejuice is pretty simple honestly. So I needed to make a twist and make it more interesting to look at. That’s when I decided to add the sandworm. I LOVE the sandworm. I have a sandworm sticker on my car and my mirror at home lol.

I started with my eyes. Just packed on black and then blended out with purple. I also added neon purple pigment. Then I dabbed white body paint on my whole face (after I outlined my sandworm). I didn’t want to paint my whole face white because I thought it would be too harsh so I just used a wet beauty blender.

After the white was all down I took a stipple sponge with some green paint to my forehead and outer face. I also added neon green pigment for that to pop as well.

The sandworm was easier than I thought it would be. I really just drew the snake and then colored in all of the stripes. The mouth I had to erase a few times because I needed to get a better shape.

Then I colored in his face and did some finishing touches and done! I am proud of this one. Especially because it’s my favorite character.
