Pennywise is my all time favorite horror character. This look was the most fun! Challenging, but fun. I have a lot of great pictures for you guys in this post! I hope you enjoy.

I began with the scar wax. I hate scar wax lol. I mean I love how it looks but I despise working with it. It’s so sticky and my Vaseline gets all over the place. Okay whatever, I rolled scar wax into little snakes and put them where I wanted the cuts to be. Obviously Pennywise’s signature face paint.

I smoothed down the edges with my flat metal spatula and Vaseline. While I let that sit for a bit, I started to paint my face around the wax white. When I did this white I did not go full coverage. I was going for more of a grungy look knowing I was going to add gray shading.

After my face was mostly painted I did my smoky eye. I just used a bunch of grays and blacks and then added a glitter shade to my lid.

When doing SFX makeup I try not to go too hard with the glam part because I don’t want it to take away from the point of the look.

After my eyes were done I went back to the wax. I took a sharp spatula and dipped it in Vaseline and cut a line down the wax. I then painted the cuts red and filled them with stage blood.

For my nose I used scab blood. I chose this because stage blood would have been too runny and I like how this looked better for this look.

I also shaded the outer sides of the wax with a dark red to blend it better.

Then I put in my contacts and put my lashes on and added the finishing touches. My neck piece is actually from my life size Pennywise!!

I also had to add Georgie in there too…
