Coraline 2.0

B..b..b..buttons?

So this is my second time around doing The Other Mother from Coraline. I decided to do it again because I wanted to see how my makeup skills have changed. I am MUCH happier with the 2.0 version.

I started out by covering my face in white body paint. Then I started shaping my face. This was kind of hard because the Beldam’s face is very creepily skinny when she looks like this. But I figured it out by looking at a bunch of references. I did this with black paint and then used black eyeshadow to fade it a little bit.

I then painted on my eyebrows and outlined my neck lines and used liquid eyeliner pen for the cracks. Trying to take a picture with the buttons on was extremely difficult. I couldn’t see anything! I stuck some latex on the top of the buttons and they kept falling off. But I got a few good shots!
